Privileged to call Riverton/Aparima home and fortunate to be raising 3 young children with my husband Glen and have such an awesome natural playground on our doorstep. I am a qualified Geologist and having studied at Otago University and The University of New South Wales I have been on some fantastic field trips!
With volunteering time at Te Hikoi Museum over the past 6 years, I have observed the ever growing interest in natural earth science and how it has undeniably impacted the peoples story through the ages.
We truly have some rich and varied history in this area and it is so worth taking the time to discover, explore and learn.
In creating GeoTours South I hope to inspire many to appreciate and understand the natural landscape.
To offer sight seeing adventures with a twist, a fun field trip if you like. Without the assignment at the end!
Keeping it simple, enjoyable and protecting our environment is paramount.
Hope to see you soon!
